How to add the AISkillHub chat to Wix

Add Live chat or Global Room to a Wix site with Custom Code, and verify your domain.
Before you start, create your widget in AISkillHub and copy your snippet from its Install tab. Wix only allows custom code on sites with a premium plan and a connected domain, which is also the domain you verify.
Add the snippet
- Open your site's dashboard and go to Settings.
- Scroll to Development & integrations (on some dashboards, Advanced) and open Custom Code.
- Choose + Add Custom Code.
- Paste your snippet, and give it a name such as "AISkillHub chat".
- Under Add Code to Pages, choose All pages and Load code once.
- Under Place Code in, choose Body - end.
- Choose Apply.
Custom code only runs on your published site, not in the Wix editor or preview. Open your live site to check it.
Verify your domain
In AISkillHub, open the widget's Domain & verification tab and enter your Wix domain. Then either:
- DNS: if your domain is managed in Wix, add the TXT record under Domains → Manage DNS Records. If it is managed elsewhere, add it at that provider.
- Meta tag: add a second Custom Code snippet containing only the
aiskillhub-verificationmeta tag, set to load on All pages in the Head. Apply, then choose Verify in AISkillHub.
