--- name: branded-docs description: Produce branded documents (memo, one-pager, report) as a self-contained print-ready HTML file plus Markdown, using the brand rules in brand.md and the layout in template.html. Use when the user asks for a branded, on-brand, company-styled or official-looking memo, one-pager, brief, report or summary document. --- # Branded documents ## Files in this skill - `brand.md`: brand name, colors, fonts, tone, footer text and paper size. Read it every time; never assume values. - `template.html`: the HTML and CSS layout with `{{PLACEHOLDER}}` markers. ## Workflow 1. **Read `brand.md`.** If any value under Colors or Fonts is empty, use the template defaults and tell the user which values were missing. 2. **Pick the document type** from the request: `memo`, `one-pager` or `report`. If unclear, ask once. Default to `memo` for internal audiences and `one-pager` for external. 3. **Collect content.** Use only the facts the user provided or files they pointed to. If a section needs facts you do not have, write `[TO CONFIRM: what is needed]` in that section and list all such gaps in your reply. 4. **Write the content** following the Tone rules in `brand.md` and the structure for the type: - **memo:** To, From, Date, Subject; Summary (2 to 3 sentences); Background; Proposal or Update; Decision or action needed (who, what, by when); Next steps. - **one-pager:** Headline (under 12 words); Key points box (3 bullets); 2 to 4 short sections with h2 headings; Call to action or contact. - **report:** Title; Executive summary; Sections with h2/h3; Recommendations; Appendix if needed. Add a table of contents if there are more than five h2 sections. 5. **Fill the template.** Copy `template.html`, replace every `{{...}}` marker: - `{{BRAND_NAME}}`, `{{COLOR_PRIMARY}}`, `{{COLOR_ACCENT}}`, `{{COLOR_TEXT}}`, `{{COLOR_MUTED}}`, `{{COLOR_SURFACE}}`, `{{FONT_HEADING}}`, `{{FONT_BODY}}`, `{{PAPER_SIZE}}`, `{{FOOTER_TEXT}}` from `brand.md`. - `{{DOC_TYPE_LABEL}}` with "Memo", "One-pager" or "Report". - `{{TITLE}}` and `{{DATE}}` (ISO format YYYY-MM-DD unless brand.md says otherwise; use today's date if the user gave none). - `{{SUMMARY_HTML}}` with the summary or key points as HTML (`
